NEWARK, N.J. (March 3, 2018) - The Rutgers University-Newark baseball contest at Mount Saint Mary College that was scheduled for March 4 has been cancelled. The teams are working on a suitable makeup date.

Heavy rain, ice and snow in the Northeast on Friday created poor field conditions.

Rutgers-Newark will continue its' 2018 campaign with the annual California Spring Break Trip. The Scarlet Raiders take on Pomona-Pitzer in Claremont, Calif. on March 9 with first pitch set for 2:30 p.m.
