PITMAN, NJ | Two Rutgers University-Newark men's volleyball players picked up New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) weekly accolades.
Elan Dorkhman earned NJAC Player of the Week and
Robert Long dug his way to NJAC Defensive Player of the Week.
In the one match that the Scarlet Raiders played last week, they dominated Neumann University, sweeping them, 3-0. Dorkhman led the team with 14 kills and hit .300. He added three assists and five service aces to lead the team with 20 points.
Robert Long finished second on the team with 13 kills and finished tied for a match-high with 12 digs. Long hit .750 in the match, which was a team-high and had just one error in the match.
