WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The Scarlet Raiders kicked off competition at the AARTFC Outdoor Regional Championship on Wednesday, closing out Day 1 with a top ten finish.

Adam Abushanab led the way for Rutgers-Newark, securing a 10th-place finish in the men's 5000-meter run with a time of 15:03.51.

The Scarlet Raiders return to action on Thursday, aiming to build on their momentum during Day 2 of the championship.
