WOODLAND PARK, NJ – Rutgers-Newark competed at the Cougar Chase on Friday. The Scarlet Raiders' men's team placed third overall with 88 points, while the women did not have enough runners to record a team score.

Leading the way for the men were Carlos Gonzales Delgado, Daniel Cortes, and Wascar Olivero, who finished 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, respectively. On the women's side, Angelyana Rodriguez crossed the line first with a winning time of 22:28.80, while Morgan Mackres secured a top-10 finish in seventh place, clocking 24:54.00.

Rutgers-Newark will travel to Langhorne, PA to compete in the Highlander Invitational next Saturday, October 4th.
