PROFILE OF THE WEEK (April 13, 2011)
SENIOR (2012): Returned to roster for final three matches of 2012 after injuries whittled to Raider roster to just six players… helped key a 3-2 upset of NJIT (4/11/12) with two kills, a pair of aces and a career-high five assisted blocks in his first game back in Scarlet & Black.
JUNIOR (2011): Played in a dozen matches for the 17-12 Raiders… totaled 13 kills, three aces and 23 blocks (four solos, 19 assisted) to net 29.5 points… hit .188 (13-7-32)… came up with 10 digs and four assists.
SOPHOMORE (2010): Saw action in six matches, totaling two kills, an assist and an assisted block… notched kills in 3-0 win over George Mason (4/3) and Harvard (4/9).
FRESHMAN (2009): Coaches Award for unselfish dedication to the team… saw action in one match, delivering a serve in a 3-0 win over NJIT (3/9/09).
HIGH SCHOOL: Senior team captain at J.P. Stevens HS who earned two letters... helped the Hawks to a pair of Greater Middlesex County tournaments and one state playoff berth.
PERSONAL: Majoring in business finance and management at Rutgers-Newark... middle of three children to Paresh and Saragita Vedawala.
