PROFILE OF THE WEEK (March 5, 2008)

SENIOR (2009): Batted a career-best .344, starting in nine of the 13 games in which he appeared as a catcher and designated hitter… posted six RBIs and double to register a .375 slugging percentage… drew seven walked to up his on-base percentage to .475… hit safely in eight games, including three multiple-hit efforts… capped his career with a two for five, 2-RBI effort in a 7-6, 10-inning loss to Stevens (5/8) in the ECAC Metro Championship opening round… went two for four, drove in two runs and scored a run in a 21-6 win over Staten Island (4/27)… had an RBI double while going two for four with two runs scored in a 12-1 win over John Jay (4/14)… opened the season with a single and a run scored in a 14-11 upset of Johns Hopkins (3/7).

JUNIOR (2008): Started in 25 games as the catcher, … threw out five of 31 runners attempting to steal against him… Had 13 assists and got in on a pair of double plays… hit .189 with nine RBI and three doubles… went two for three with a pair of RBI in an 18-4 win over John Jay (4/15)… was two for five with two RBI in a 15-12 loss to TCNJ (3/29)… drove in a run and scored while going two for four in a 15-4 win over Richard Stockton (4/13)… doubled home a run in a 19-11 loss to Rowan (4/19).

SOPHOMORE (2005): Started 27 games behind the plate… Hit .196 (18-92) with nine RBI and six runs scored… threw out 11 of 47 runners attempting to steal.

FRESHMAN (2004): Hit .325 with 12 RBI and 16 runs scored… smacked his first collegiate home run against Montclair State in the final NJAC game of the season with his older brother Michael playing in the outfield for the Red Hawks… threw out 38 percent (11-29) of the runners attempting to steal.
