JUNIOR (2009): Appeared in five games posting a 5.89 ERA in 4-2/3 innings of relief… posted three strikeouts against on walk and seven hits… opened his season with a full inning of one-hit, shutout relief in a 4-3 win over Purchase (3/8)… hurled a scoreless, one-hit inning with a strikeout in a 12-2 loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (3/14)… blanked John Jay (4/14), allowing one hit, during an inning of work in a 12-1 win.
SOPHOMORE (2008): Appeared in four games, posting a 1-0 mark with an ERA of 6.23… struck out 12 and walked just one in 8-2/3 innings of work… got the win with four innings of relief work in a 20-3 win over Lehman (4/10), striking out seven while yielding just two hits and no walks… started the Raiders’ 18-4 win over John Jay (4/15), striking out three in two innings.
2007: Medical Redshirt due to elbow injury.
FRESHMAN (2006): Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen , posting a 2.93 ERA in 15-1/3 innings… allowed 18 hits and five earned runs while striking out 10 and walking seven… made his first collegiate appearance at Hampden Sydney and allowed a hit and walk in a scoreless inning… longest outing came against Kean (4/20) when he allowed one earned and five hits in three innings… gave up a run and three hits in 2-2/3 innings at Rowan (4/26).
HIGH SCHOOL: One of the most decorated pitchers in Passaic County his senior year… was a First-Team All-State Group I selection as well as First-Team All-Passaic County, All-North Jersey and All-BPSL… went 8-1 with a 1.44 ERA and recorded 77 strikeouts… led the Bears to a 21-7 record and a berth in the Passaic County Finals and State Sectional Finals… was an all-conference wrestler his junior and senior years.
PERSONAL: Son of Scott and Paula Kabrel… undecided on major.
