NOTES:  Three-year starter in centerfield who committed just seven errors in 294 chances… hit .278 with a .369 on-base percentage… piled up 106 hits, 81 runs, 57 RBIs and 16 extra-base hits (13 doubles, a triple and two home runs)… successful on 10 of 13 stolen base attempts.

PROFILE OF THE WEEK (Spring 2011)

SENIOR (2011):  ABCA/Rawlings Mid-Atlantic Golden Glove outfielder and second team All-NJAC for the 23-19 Scarlet Raiders who shared the ECAC Metro Championship… fielded .978 with just three errors in 135 chances in centerfield… NJAC Player of the Week (4/3/11)… batted .256 with 21 RBIs, 42 hits and 29 runs while stealing five bases in seven tries… collected six doubles and a home run to push his slugging percentage to .311… drew a dozen walks and was hit seven times by pitchers to register a .333 on-base percentage… started in all 42 games… hit safely in 28 games, notching multiple hits 11 times… had three hits in each game of an NJAC doubleheader sweep of New Jersey City (4/2/11), driving in three runs in the second game… went three for five, scored three times and drove in a pair of runs in a 16-13 win over Baruch (3/29/11)… blasted a 3-run homer , scored twice and added a single in an 11-0 win over Mount St. Mary (3/1/11)… scored four runs and went two for five in a 16-7 win over William Paterson (4/29/11)… drove in three runs with a single, an infield grounder and a sacrifice fly in a 10-8 win over DeSales (4/20/11).

JUNIOR (2010): Outstanding defensive centerfield who hit .339 while starting in 35 games… made just three errors in 95 chances with tremendous range… stole five bases in as many tries… drove in 20 runs with 43 hits which included five doubles… had a .378 slugging percentage… drew 21 walks to push his on-base percentage to .444… fourth on the team with 37 runs… hit safely in 26 games with a dozen multiple-hit efforts… had two or more hits in each of his last five games… went four for five in a 13-10 NJAC tournament loss to Montclair State (5/5)… went two for three with a pair of RBI singles, two walks and two runs scored in a 16-4 win over Ithaca (3/15)… went three for five with an RBI in 9-8 loss to New Jersey City (4/23)… capped season by going three for five in an 8-4 ECAC Metro playoff loss to Rutgers-Camden (5/13).

SOPHOMORE (2009): Started in the outfield in 26 of the 32 games in which he appeared… hit .238 with 14 RBIs… had two doubles, a triple and a home run to push his slugging percentage to .321… drew 13 walks against 11 strikeouts to post a .343 on-base percentage… also had three sacrifice hits and three sacrifice flies… made just one error in 63 chances in the outfield… hit safely in 13 games with six multiple-hit efforts… slammed a 3-run homer in the fifth inning of a 14-6 win over Stevens (3/9), finishing the game by going three for four with a walk and two runs scored… opened his collegiate career by going two for three with an RBI in a 12-4 loss to Johns Hopkins (3/7)… went two for three with a double, a triple, an RBI, a walk and a run scored in a 10-3 win over Purchase (3/8)… went two for four with a pair of RBIs singles in a 5-1 win over Richard Stockton (4/19)… went two for four with a double and a walk in an 8-7 upset of Cal Lutheran (3/21)… had an RBI single, walked and scored twice in an 11-7 win over Ramapo (4/25).

FRESHMAN (2008): Played in six games as a reserve outfielder… had an RBI single and a sacrifice fly in the Raiders’ 20-3 win over Lehman (4/10)… scored a run in an 18-4 win over John Jay (4/15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Starting catcher for head coach Jeff Hoover at Wayne Valley HS… helped team to an 18-8 record, an 11th ranking in North Jersey and a berth in the semifinals of the Passaic County Coaches Tournament in his senior year… team went 17-10 in his junior season…earned Second Team All-Northern Hills Skyline Conference honors as a senior and honorable mention all-league as a junior…played for the Bergen Saints AAU team in the summer of 2007.
