Michael DiCenso lifted Rutgers-Newark to a 6-4 win over Ramapo College in Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

The Scarlet Raiders (19-10, NJAC 9-2) rallied from deficits of 3-0 and 4-3 to get the crucial New Jersey Athletic Conference victory over the Roadrunners (23-5, NJAC 6-5). The teams square off again in Mahwah tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. to complete the home-and-home regular season set.

Michael Cassese collected two hits apiece for Rutgers-Newark with Cassese notching two doubles.
Sophomore third baseman Christian Spurr paced the Roadrunners by going three for five with a two-run single to cap Ramapo's three-run second inning outburst.
Ramapo took a 4-3 lead in the top of the seventh when senior second baseman Pat Driscoll walked, moved to third on a double off the leftfield wall by Spurr and scored on a wild pitch.
Evans came on to get out of a bases-loaded jam in the seventh before Cassese was hit by a pitch to start the Raiders' decisive rally in the bottom of the frame.
