IN GAME TWO, the Scarlet Raiders (8-26, NJAC 3-11) led 6-3 after a four-run explosion in the fifth highlighted by a two-run double by senior first baseman

Dan Lopez. But the Ospreys (20-14, NJAC 8-6) scored in each their last five innings while piling up 21 hits against five Rutgers-Newark pitchers.

IN THE OPENER, a four-run third outburst against Raider junior starter
Michael Garcia (2-6) proved fatal. The runs boosted the Ospreys into a 6-1 lead before senior relievers
Tyler Kwiatek and
Ryan Staub blanked the visitors on just five hits the rest of the way.
Murray hammered lead-off homer over the right field wall in the fourth inning, but Rutgers-Newark would not get on the board again after trimmed its deficit to three.
