Newark, N.J. - Rutgers–Newark goalkeeper Pedro Flores has been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week after a strong defensive week for the Scarlet Raiders.

Pedro Flores anchored the Scarlet Raiders in their win over No. 6 Rowan, playing the full 90 minutes while making four saves and conceding just one goal.
