NEWARK, NJ – Rutgers-Newark erupted for a season-high 20 hits on its way to a 20-9 win over Baruch in Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

Robert Kistner went three for five to pace the assault with one of the Scarlet Raiders' six doubles against the Bearcats (7-12). Rutgers-Newark (11-14) got multiple hits from seven players with senior first baseman

Tyler Kwiatek (1-0) picked up his first career decision by going the first four innings as Rutgers-Newark powered out to a 13-2 lead. Kwiatek gave up just one earned run on three hits while striking out four and walking two.
