FRESHMAN (2010): NJCBA Division II/III All-Rookie Team and NJAC Baseball Rookie of the Week (4/18) as an outfielder and third baseman… hit .282 with three doubles while starting in eight of the 19 games in which he saw action… posted a .359 slugging percentage and a .356 on-base average… stole four bases in six attempts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport all-star at Hasbrouck Heights HS in baseball, football and basketball… in baseball, first-team All-Group 1, second-team All-Bergen County and first-team All-BCSL National as a senior … three-year letterwinner who also was second-team all-league as a junior… helped Aviators to three winning records, three playoff berths and a cumulative record of 50-27… team won BCSL and state championship during his sophomore season (2007)… joins Hasbrouck Heights products Anthony Yeswita and Matt Connors on Scarlet Raider roster… all-state and all-county football player and an all-league selection in basketball for the Aviators…was quarterback in his junior and senior years and led the Aviators to a state championship in 2007.

PERSONAL: Undecided on major field of study at Rutgers-Newark… son of Marie and Ron Kistner… has one older sister, Amanda.
