Biography

NOTES: One of the most productive hitters in R-N history… career .342 hitter who is tied for first in doubles (49), third in hits (182), fourth in RBIs (140), fourth in total bases (279), fifth in runs scored (127), tied for ninth in home runs (16) and eighth in walks (72)… started in 136 of the 147 games that he played in primarily at designated hitter and right field… piled up 65 extra-base hit to push his slugging percentage to .524… drew 72 walks and was hit by a pitch 14 times to give him a .427 on-base percentage… totaled nine sacrifice flies and stole four bases in as many tries.

SENIOR (2010):
ABCA All-Mid-Atlantic and All-NJCBA Division II/III third team as a designated hitter… All-NJAC Honorable Mention… started all 43 games with a .338 batting average, 42 RBIs, 14 doubles and four home runs… posted a .510 slugging percentage… drew 30 walks to notch a .463 on-base percentage… lofted two sacrifice flies and scored 38 runs… hit safely in 30 games posting multiple hits 15 times… drove in five runs with a two-run homer, a two-run single and a sacrifice fly in a 17-2 win over PSU-Abington (4/27)… went four for four with four RBIs and a game-winning three-run double in the eighth inning of a 6-4 win over Rutgers-Camden (4/3)… went three for five with a two-run homer, an RBI double and a run producing single in an 8-7 win over Rowan (4/17)… in a doubleheader sweep of Cal Lutheran (3/19), went five for 10 with three RBIs, two doubles, a home run and four runs scored… went three for four with a double, home run, three RBIs and two runs scored in a 12-4 win over Alvernia (4/13)… opened season by going three for four with three doubles, three RBIs, a walk and a stolen base in a 16-5 win over Mount St. Mary (3/3)… had a two-run double, walked twice and drove in a total of three runs in an 8-5 win over William Paterson (4/29).

JUNIOR (2009): Second team All-NJAC and ABCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region pick… All-NJCBA first team selection… led Raiders in batting average (.384), hits (56), RBIs (43), slugging percentage (.664) and sacrifice flies (4) while tying for the team lead in home runs (10)… was tied for second in hits (37)… was second in walks (23)… drew 22 walks to up his on-base percentage to .460… ranked among the NJAC’s Top 10 in slugging percentage (5th), RBIs (8th), home runs (Tied for 3rd) and total bases (Tied for 7th)… started in 37 of the Raiders’ 38 games as an outfielder or designated hitter… hit safely in 29 games with 16 multiple-high efforts… had three home runs and a double, drove in six runs, scored four times and drew a walk while going five for five in a 20-17 loss to Rowan (4/18)… drove in five runs with a 3-run homer, a solo home run and an RBI double, walked and scored four times in a 13-6 win over Whittier (3/15)… had a 2-run homer, walked and scored twice while going four for four in a 13-5 win over Redlands (3/22)… in a doubleheader split against Richard Stockton (4/19), went seven for 10 with three doubles and scored three times… went three for six with a home run, a double, four RBIs, three walks and two runs scored in season-opening doubleheader split with Johns Hopkins (3/7)… drove in five runs with a pair of home runs while going three for four, scoring three times and walking twice in a 14-6 win over Stevens (3/9).

SOPHOMORE (2008): Drove in 38 runs while hitting .320 while starting in all 38 games as a rightfielder or designated hitter… tied for the team lead with 16 extra-base hits, including a team-high 15 doubles… posted a .428 slugging percentage… drew 17 walks to push his on-base percentage to .398… successful on both of his steal attempts… recorded 13 multiple-hit games and drove in runs in 21 contests… went four for five with four RBI in a 17-9 win over Whittier (3/22)… cranked a two-run homer to highlight a three for four day with four RBI in a 17-6 loss to Pomona-Pitzer (3/14)… had an RBI double while going three for four with a pair of RBI in an 18-4 win over John Jay (4/15)… went two for four with three RBI , a double and two runs in an 11-1 win over Staten Island (4/22)… scored three runs, drove in a run and went three for five in a 13-7 win over Redlands (3/19)… drove in three runs while going two for five in a 13-4 win over Rutgers-Camden (4/5)… drove in three runs with a double and a pair of sacrifice flies in a 13-12 win over William Paterson (4/17).

FRESHMAN (2007): Started 18 games as either DH or rightfielder… hit .317 with nine doubles and 17 RBI… named to NJCBA All-Freshmen Team for Division II/III… earned NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after hitting .467 (7-for-15) with two doubles, a home run, three RBI and six runs scored April 2-7… recorded his first collegiate hit against Cal East Bay when he stroked a pinch-hit, 2-run double in the eighth inning.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rewrote the Hasbrouck Heights' record book his senior year, setting school season marks for home runs (10) and RBI (43)… that included one shot at Heights' Depken Field that carried all the way onto Route 17, striking a truck… finished his high school career with 17 home runs and 158 RBI…. was named first team All-State Group 1 (Star Ledger), first team All-North Jersey (Bergen Record), first team All-Bergen County (Record &Ledger) and first team all-league... was also an all-state, all-county and all-league defensive end and tackle for the football team… football team went 7-1 in his senior season.
