Austin Pappas combined for 46.5 points, but No. 15 Harvard powered its way to a 3-1 EIVA win in The Golden Dome Arena. Game scores were 27-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-18.

Metheny had 14 kills, a pair of aces and a solo block for a team-high 17 points with Midura notching a team-high 15 kills plus an assisted block. Pappas roped a match-high five aces and added nine kills for the Scarlet Raider (10-14, 2-11).
Harvard bounced back from an upset loss at NJIT on Friday night behind the play of senior outside hitter Matt Jones who pounded down 18 kills while getting in on 10 blocks as the Crimson (21-4, EIVA 10-4) piled up a 17.0 to 3.0 advantage in blocking.

Manuel Felipez for team honors with nine digs. Felipez distributed 37 assists and dumped in three kills. Senior middle hitter

Lorenzo Samin finished with four kills, an ace and an assisted block.
In game one, there were a dozen ties and four lead changes before a block by Jones and sophomore middle blocker Will Chambers ended the pivotal frame. Jones had five kills.
Jones also had five kills in the second set as Harvard hit .500 (10 kills, 2 errors, 16 attacks) to win easily, but Metheny and Midura posted six kills each in the third frame as the Scarlet Raiders refused to go easily.
In game four, the Crimson came up with 16 digs to stall the Raider attack while making five blocks to spell the difference.
Rutgers-Newark ends its season at George Mason on Friday at 7 p.m. in an EIVA match.
