FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in 13 games as a catcher playing errorless baseball behind the plate on 36 chances… had three singles and three RBIs in 16 at-bats… went two for four with a 2-run single in a 20-9 win over Baruch (4/11) in one of his two starting assignments.

HIGH SCHOOL: First-team All-BCSL American and Honorable Mention All-Bergen County pick as a senior at Rutherford HS… two-year letterwinner who helped Bulldogs to back-to-back Bergen County and state tournament berths with records of 16-10 in 2008 and 20-7 in 2009.

SUMMER LEAGUE: Played with the South Bergen Mets in 2007 and the PBI Eagles in 2008.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in business at Rutgers-Newark… son of Jennifer and Humberto Loys… born in New York City.
