Singleton is one of 17 1,000-point scorers in the history of the Rutgers-Newark men's basketball program, playing his final season in 2010. He was a two-time all-conference pick, earning first-team All-NJAC honors in 2009 and second-team acknowledgement in 2010.

His 1,085 career points puts him sixth in R-N history, and he cracks the top-six in made field goals and made free throws, holding top-10 spots in blocked shots, rebounds, starts and total minutes.
 
He helped the 2009-10 version of the Scarlet Raiders to the NCAA Tournament, guiding the squad to an overall record of 20-8 and leading his team to the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Metro Championship tournament the two years prior. The 2010 trip to the national tournament was the first for Rutgers-Newark.
