McDaniel played in 86 games in his career tallying 2,375 minutes. He shot 52.6% from the field and averaged a career of 14.9 points per game. In his final season, he tallied 21.4 points per game for a career total of 1,284 points. Over his career, he averaged 5.35 rebounds per game and 39.3% from 3pt range. From the charity stripe, he cashed in 73% of the time. He recorded eight double-doubles in his time with the Scarlet Raiders and 78 blocks.
In his final season with the Scarlet Raiders, McDaniel was named 2015-16 NJAC Pony Wilson Player of the Year and was also named NABC First Team All-America.
