Monica Liotto was a nightmare for opposing pitchers during her time at Rutgers University-Newark.

During her senior season, Monica Liotto batted .418 and added 12 RBI to go along with her two home runs. The entrenched third baseman was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-Eastern Region squad in 2013. During that same season, she was named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) All-Conference second team after leading the league in hitting with a .418 average. For her career, Liotto finished with a .347 batting average while setting Rutgers-Newark records for hits (148), runs (85), doubles (36) and RBIs (80). She started in 149 of a possible 150 games during her career, piling up 44 extra-base hits with a triple and seven home runs.
