A two-time NJAC All-Conference second team athlete, Sabrina Sanchez, is the eighth women’s basketball player to be inducted to the Rutgers University-Newark Athletic Hall of Fame.
Sanchez tallied 986 points in her career which has her top-10 all-time at Rutgers University-Newark. She was also one of the most prolific three-point shooters the team has had, as in her 108 career games sunk 148 of them. During her senior campaign, she converted 62 three’s which went down as the third-best three-point shooting performance in the history of Rutgers-Newark. She also has her name in the top-10 for field goals made at 359. On the other side of the court, she remained just as active and picked off 180 passes in her career placing her sixth all-time.
